To spill my overflowing thoughts, diverse passion projects & unusual journeys.
I'm hitting the big 3-0 this year and thought, "Why not start something fresh?"
So here I am, carving out another little nook in the digital world to share my ever-growing, somewhat crazy life. Sure, I've got my spots on Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., where I share snippets of my life, final projects, daily rambles, and more.
But I craved a space to just write, to take you behind the scenes of my many projects, to wander along my winding life journey, and to share what sparks my interests as an artist.
So, who am I?
I'm Sudakshina, a multifaceted artist whose world is all about capturing the everyday, embracing emotions, relishing food, and celebrating love. Originally from Chennai, India, my childhood unfolded in Muscat, Oman. My resume? It's a bit eclectic because, well, I love diving into a variety of things. It might look like chaos, but to me, it's a thrilling, never-ending adventure.

I named this newsletter "Behind The Scenes" because I've always been fascinated by what goes on behind the curtain. Whether it’s about someone’s journey, their projects, thoughts, the efforts, and the drafts behind each work - it's all intriguing. Knowing about the crumpled papers, discarded ideas, and life's unexpected turns is somehow reassuring. Life, after all, isn't a straight line.
I tend to overthink and overshare, but people have told me they find my stories relatable, sometimes even helpful. So, after much contemplation and wondering if I could really pull this off (I'm no professional writer, after all), I decided to just go for it.
